Support for Primary School Textbooks

The lack of textbooks and teaching aids have been parts of the setbacks of Christ Missionary Academy (CMA), the mission’s primary school in Karasude village. After reading about this need in our previous newsletter, God moved the heart of someone to make a very generous donation for the purchase of some of the needed textbooks.  The children who couldn’t afford to buy textbooks themselves were very excited and thankful.

Christ Missionary Academy Karasude, which started in March 1993 has experienced growth. The current population is 180 children. After Bitrus and Monica Audu who founded the school left Karasude in 1998 to Michika town, other cross-cultural missionaries from within the country have come and gone who also served as teachers there. The current teachers are indigenes among whom are alumni of the school. The head teacher, Mark Ibrahim was among the first set who graduated from the school. With the growth in the number of school children, there is need for more teachers; including one who is computer literate.

Let’s Do More Together

Could you join us to pray for more teachers, computers, generator and a stabilizer? We also desire to send two cross cultural missionary families to teach in the school and disciple the children as well. Therefore, we are looking for those who would partner with us in this, by way of supporting these families financially on monthly or quarterly basis.
