DIVINE TASK, DECEMBER 2025

A Year of Walking by Faith

As we approach the end of 2025, our hearts are overflowing with a single emotion: gratitude. When we began this year, we committed to a theme of “Walking by Faith.” We didn’t know then all the mountains we would climb or the valleys we would cross, but we knew who was leading us. Today, we look back and see that God has been unimaginably faithful!

Victory in the Harvest Field
The Gospel is advancing into places we once only dreamed of reaching. This year, we saw the power of God break through barriers in remarkable ways.

The Firstfruits in Bauchi State: In Bauchi State, Northeastern Nigeria, we are witnessing a move of God that is as courageous as it is beautiful. We began the year celebrating a milestone in Bauchi State, where a new convert and his entire family embraced Jesus. Today, we have grown to 15 mission stations across the state, with indigenous workers being raised and trained to lead their own people. One of the most remarkable developments this year has been the success of the “Bukin-tuba,” or Conversion Ceremony. This practice has deep roots in the region’s history, but it is now being redeemed for the Kingdom of God. In a region where following Jesus often comes with a price, families are not choosing to hide. Instead, they are stepping into the public squares of their villages to openly declare their faith and identify themselves as followers of Christ. You might expect such public displays to increase their danger, but we have found the opposite: courage is contagious. This boldness has emboldened others—from those coming out of traditional idol worship to those leaving Islam—to stand tall and publicly embrace their new identity in Jesus.

The Niger Republic Connection

Our strategy of empowering local leaders is flourishing. Three families have returned to Niger after a year of vocational and spiritual discipleship in Nigeria, already serving as lights in their communities. The strategy of starting small and growing deep is working. Our vision to establish 60 Bible study groups is well underway, with 43 centers now active across the region. Out of these, we have already planted 26 house churches, including three specifically among nomadic Fulani groups in the far north of Niger. It is a joy to report that 14 of these Bible study centers were launched in 2025 alone, bringing in 87 new participants. We believe the most sustainable way to reach the Sahel is through indigenous leadership. We are halfway to our three-year goal with 21 leaders fully trained, and our “Timothys” basic training program has exceeded expectations—training 46 individuals this year! In a region where face-to-face contact can be dangerous, God is using technology to bypass barriers.

Social Media Evangelism: We are currently in touch with over 300 seekers across the Sahel via social media.

WhatsApp Discipleship: Many of our 53 new converts from 2025 are completing their 30-lesson basic Bible study through WhatsApp.

Fruit from the Screen: We have already seen five individuals come to Christ solely through social media outreach this year, and our workers have already traveled to meet them face-to-face to begin formal discipleship. The harvest in the Sahel is plentiful, and the tools are changing, but the message remains the same.

Streams of Joy Amidst the Struggle. Faith is often tested in the fire, and this year brought its share of trials. We grieved the loss of loved ones and stood firm against persecution in Niger and Bauchi. Yet, even in the shadows, God provided “beauty for ashes”.Provision of Efficient Mobility
God provided four motorcycles and a minibus, drastically changing how our missionaries and teachers reach remote areas.

Zion Hills Progress
What started as a vision on the outskirts of Jos is becoming a reality. The Training Center has progressed from a foundation to the final roofing level. This “spiritual oasis” is rising stone by stone because of God’s provision.

The Learning to Read Center
Our hearts are full seeing the children of Zukku, who once didn’t recognize the alphabet, now reading, writing, and even harvested  sweet potatoes from their own school farm this year.

The Joy of Christmas in Zukku

Our year concluded with a beautiful explosion of joy and generosity. While we initially planned a Christmas outreach for 150 children in the Zukku community, in partnership with Claire Aid Foundation, God had an even bigger harvest in mind: over 300 children showed up to experience the love of Christ! It was a day of restoration and laughter, where we were able to serve the children in very practical, tangible ways:

Grooming with Love: Our volunteers stayed busy with hair barbing for the boys and plaiting/braiding for the girls.
Provision & Care: Every child was fed and provided with personal hygiene packs to take home.
The Greatest Gift: Most importantly, we shared the Christmas story, centering the day on the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.Watching over 300 children play, eat, and hear the Gospel was the perfect finale to our year of walking by faith. We are so grateful to the Claire Aid Foundation and all the volunteers who gave their time and skills to make this “core memory possible for these precious little ones.

To you, our faithful ministry friends: You are the pillars of this work. Every report of a soul saved, a building raised, or a child learning to read is a direct result of your “yes” to God. Your financial gifts have been the literal feet of our missionaries, and your prayers have been the shield around our staff during seasons of grief and opposition. You have not just watched us from a distance; you have walked this path of faith right alongside us. Thank you very much for your partnership. May the Lord whom you serve by praying, giving, fellowship, and friendship with us bless you for all your labor of love. We praise God for you every single day.May the peace of Christ fill your homes this Christmas season as we look forward to all He will do in 2026.
